The upper material: comes in suede, birkoflor, birkibuc and in this case, leather. It's a thick and supple leather that was designed without any additional dyes so as to keep the leather breathable, durable and comfortable. This has the original Birkenstock footbed, featuring pronounced arch support, a deep heel cup, a roomy toe box, and is covered with a suede liner. As you wear them, the footbed molds and shapes to your foot. The Sole material is EVA - Flexible, durable, lightweight, shock resisting soling material. Birkenstock create shoes that follow your foot's shape and contours. All Birkenstocks have a deep heel cup which enables your body weight to be distributed evenly over the whole foot and to ensure proper foot alignment providing you with optimal support. They also come with a spacious toe box that allows your toes lots of room to move. And, of course, what Birkenstock is most famous for, its suede-lined, cork and latex footbed, a footbed that molds to your foot's unique shape.
